If you love the atmosphere of a live show and want to see how a comedy event comes together from setup to showtime, we'd love to have you on our events team.

You'll have opportunities to support our open mics, themed shows, specials, and other in-person events with venue setup, check-in and ticket scanning, audience guidance, performer coordination, backstage support, supplies, and post-show cleanup. At larger events, you may also welcome guests and partners.

This role is a great fit if you enjoy meeting people, take initiative, are dependable, and can join us at live events. No prior experience is required; we'll guide you on site.

If you love design and want to see your work become part of a show, a poster, or a comedy brand, join our design team.

You'll help create show posters, event key visuals, social media graphics, promotional materials, and branded content. You'll also have chances to work with our operations, social, and events teams on full campaigns.

Experience with one or more tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma is enough to start. More than a formal design background, we value your visual taste, creativity, and work samples.

Operations volunteers help with the day-to-day work of This Good Comedy, including event planning and execution, performer and volunteer coordination, partnership follow-up, organizing materials, community care, and other project support.

You may see a show through from planning to opening night, and take part in new-member training, community activities, or outside collaborations.

We're looking for someone dependable, communicative, and organized. No industry experience is required, but we hope you can participate with some consistency.

If you spend time on Xiaohongshu, Instagram, or TikTok, follow online trends, and enjoy figuring out what makes someone stop scrolling, we'd love to meet you.

You'll help with content ideas, copywriting, publishing, short-form video planning, show promotion, and day-to-day account management. Working with our photography, design, and events teams, you'll turn memorable moments from live shows into stories people can discover online.

Familiarity with Xiaohongshu, Instagram, TikTok, WeChat Official Accounts, or WeChat Channels is enough to start. Content creation, editing, writing, or account experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Above all, we hope you love creating content, understand social media, and want to tell the stories of comedy and its creators in your own voice.

We want to capture more than the performers on stage—we want to preserve the moments that make a live show feel alive.

Photography volunteers help document open mics, themed shows, specials, and other events through live performance photos, performer portraits, audience interactions, backstage moments, and event storytelling. Some photos may appear on our website, social channels, and promotional materials.

This role is a good fit if you have your own camera and basic live-event photography and editing skills. Experience with shows, events, or portraits is a plus, but not essential.

Beyond simply recording what happened, we're looking for someone who notices people, the stage, emotion, and the stories unfolding in the room.
